Pole-sitter Luka Sammalisto (KR/Iame) had to retire at the start of the first race on Friday, and he had little success afterwards so was 27th on Saturday evening. Yuanpu Cui (KR/Iame), winner of Heat 1, then maintained a good pace and took the lead ahead of Alex Powell (KR/Iame), who also won once and climbed six places. Oscar Pedersen (Tony Kart/Vortex) maintained his 3rd place after a steady race, while Anatoly Khavalkin (Parolin/TM) regained 13 positions to take 4th place with a win to his credit. Sebastiano Pavan (Exprit/TM) finished in the top five ahead of Tomass Stolcermanis (Energy/TM), who was less at ease in the dry. Nathan Tye (Sodi/TM) moved up three places to 9th while Jan Przyroswki (Tony Kart/Vortex) did not shine with his results. Maxens Verbrugge (KR/Iame) did not finish the first race and was 18th on Saturday evening, ahead of Dmitry Matveev (Tony Kart/Vortex).
